I consulted Åhléns during my time at Cloud Nine, my role involved continuous improvements based on analytics data and developing a comprehensive design system while collaborating with a branding agency to reimagine Åhléns brand identity.

User Journey, Scenario & Personas

We discovered ways to refine the user journey through creating personas and applying analytics data. The work across teams also helped Åhléns by improving key flows and creating convenient solutions for detail pages and gift wrapping.

I held workshop sessions with user groups based on our user personas and teams within the company. Feedback gathered was processed into concepts which where then a/b-tested to further refine user flows.

Prototyping & production

Quick prototyping of user journeys provided the most feedback, and observing users interacting with the product, proved to be essential to catch the detailed interactions that often goes unnoticed.

Based on user research, we customized the category pages by introducing a category list designed with icons to expedite the user’s journey to the products they seek. Also we focused on cards and action-dots to further help the user find specific items within pictures or campaigned categories.
